On 9th July, the day before Guru Purnima, I knew I wouldn’t be able to visit Baba’s temple on the actual day due to the many responsibilities I had. So I made a quiet visit the day before, simply to express my love and gratitude to Baba.
At the mandir, I noticed some coins and felt drawn to them. I picked them up along with some yellow flowers and waited for the priest to bless them. As I waited a kind lady approached me and asked if I would help cut flowers to make garlands for Baba. She patiently showed me how and then gave me four flowers saying, “Offer these to Baba.”
Moments later the priest entered the temple and smiled. He looked at me and said, “Baba wanted you to do seva today.” The garlands were just finished. He then blessed me and the coins I had picked up and gave me a garland to take home.
In that moment I truly felt Baba’s love. He knew I couldn’t visit on Guru Purnima, so He gave me this special experience a day early, the coins, the seva, the blessings, and the garland. It showed me that Baba’s timing is always perfect. He understands everything and always finds a loving way to be with us, even when we don’t expect it.
