Drugs and Alcohol Counselling at Sai 9 Healing
How I Support You to Move Forward
Many people carry their struggles quietly and suffer in silence. Often there are deeper emotional experiences or long-standing life patterns that need care, understanding and healing.
You may feel embarrassed, worried about being judged, or afraid of disappointing others. At times, you may feel lost, confused, or unsure who you truly are. These feelings are more common than you think.
I provide Drugs and Alcohol Counselling with the goal to help remove the barriers that often prevent people from seeking help. Here, you do not have to pretend or explain yourself. You will be met with kindness, patience and understanding. This is a safe, respectful, and non-judgmental space where you can speak openly and be truly heard.
Counselling helps you explore and understand the underlying reasons behind substance use, allowing these to be addressed in healthier, more supportive ways. Gaining this awareness is a meaningful step toward lasting change.
My role is to support you on your journey as you begin the process of healing. In our sessions I offer guidance, encouragement and practical tools that help you regain control and direction in your life.
You do not need to have everything figured out. You do not need to be “ready” or “strong enough”. Just coming here is enough. This is the first step, and it matters.
Understanding the Root Causes
In our sessions, I will work with you gently and patiently to uncover the deeper causes behind your struggles. I will ensure you feel comfortable to speak. Through open conversation, thoughtful guidance and a holistic support, we will explore emotional triggers, patterns of stress or trauma, and beliefs or habits that may be keeping you stuck.
Together, we gently explore:
- What you are feeling right now
- What drugs or alcohol give you - and what they take away
- The emotions, pain, or experiences underneath the addiction
- Healthier ways to cope, heal, and rebuild confidence
Everything you share is kept completely confidential and treated with care and respect.
Where helpful, support can also include guidance towards:
- Recovery groups such as AA
- Additional counselling or mental health support
- Community, volunteering, or activities that bring purpose
- Simple routines that help you feel more stable and grounded
Starting Is Enough
We begin with a free 15-minute consultation call. This first conversation is simply a chance for you to talk and be heard. There is no pressure, no obligation, and no judgment. We understand that even making this call can feel hard.
If you choose to continue, we will work together to create a supportive and realistic plan tailored to you. Sessions are one-on-one, 60-90 minutes long, and focus on building self-awareness, healthier coping tools, emotional strength, and lasting change.
Recovery is not about being perfect. It is about being honest, supported, and taking one small step at a time. Some days talking will feel easy, other days it may feel hard - both are okay.
You do not have to face this alone.
We understand how hard the first step is - and we are here to support you every step of the way.
You are welcome.
You are understood.
And you do not have to do this alone.
