Guru Purnima Meditation 2024
Guru Brahma, Guru Vishnu, Guru Devo Maheshwara, Guru Sakshaat Param Brahma, Tasmai Shri Guravey Namaha.With blessings from Baba, I am delighted to announce a Guru Purnima meditation, taking place on 21st July 2024.
The word Guru is formed by Gu – meaning ‘ignorance’ and Ru, meaning ‘remover of’. On this auspicious day we celebrate and worship the Guru, who is our guiding light on the journey to self-realisation. The Guru’s teachings help us to navigate challenges in life and find direction when we are feeling lost and uncertain. The Guru encourages us to seek knowledge and wisdom and practice the teachings in our daily lives.
The Guru comes in many forms, and we express our appreciation to all our teachers and the significant role they play in our lives. We also pay homage to our first Guru – our parents, whom we seek guidance and blessings from. Devotees celebrate this occasion by performing puja and kirtan, fasting, praying, make offerings and visit temples.
On this special day, you will have the chance to meditate on Sai Baba, our Guru, and many other Gurus and deities. During the meditation, Ravi ji will guide you step by step, using Baba’s tools, including meditating on Dwarakamai, where you can find peace and balance within, and connect with Baba. During the mediation, you can visit Baba’s Dhuni, where you can clear, burn and release any fears and beliefs that are holding you back.
Reading the Sai Sat Charita provides eternal lessons from Baba’s life. The meditation will assist you to seek guidance from Baba and help you to make righteous decisions and transform your lives.
