The Guru appears in many forms: through our parents, our spiritual teachers, our life experiences and the quiet inner voice that calls us to grow. On this sacred day, we show gratitude for the countless ways we are guided, taught and uplifted.
Whether your Guru is Sai Baba, a family Guru, or you’re still discovering your path, each Guru offers a unique way to truth. Sometimes it is hard to connect in meditation or know which way to go, but often, in these quiet moments, the Guru’s grace gently guides us toward clarity and growth.
Guru Purnima is a time for self-reflection. Sai Baba of Shirdi gave special importance to Guru Purnima, encouraging his devotees to honour their spiritual teachers and deepen their inner journey on this sacred day. Sai Baba often said, “I am not your Guru in the usual sense – your Guru is within you.” He guided his devotees towards self-realisation, acting as a true Guru through his words, silence and presence.
